I evaluated the current design and converted the website into a simpler, minimalist design. Despite this new design becoming aesthetically clean, iterations were needed to improve the lack of information about the company and decrease customer questions directed at our client success team.

One of the biggest pain points of people seeking legal services is not knowing whether they need it, which is why we created a quiz to educate and increase conversion rates.

Final Deliverable
We saw an initial 0.03% conversion rate increase to a 1.3% conversion rate. Calls to our Client Success Team were not as prolonged as before since the information was readily available. This was a sign that users were more informed and able to navigate the website without much hand-holding from our team members.
Takeaways
I learned how to grow conversion rates by introducing human connections visually as well as implementing stronger SEO strategies. There was a lot of experimenting at the beginning of the design process and I had to be patient as I got feedback at every juncture. Illustrations were nice but images of people and specifically our attorneys helped demonstrate that we were on a mission to help clients during this stressful period in their life.
I learned the importance of SEO best practices in design. For Court Buddy, the main channel for growth and traffic was through Google. I strategized baseline search best practices to drive awareness and conversion rates.
I created personas to help guide my designs and allow me to empathize with my users.
I sought feedback and worked on multiple iterations to improve the overall design, keeping the customer's needs at the forefront of my decisions.
